How do you want to identify the unit?
Model / Nameplate Identification
Type a model number, take a new nameplate photo, or choose an existing photo from your device. Automatic text recognition depends on browser support; manual entry always works.
Current iCOM Temperature Settings
Enter the values currently programmed in the unit’s iCOM controller. These are the settings CRAC Buddy will use to calculate expected operation.
Cooling Unit & Configuration
Model Type filters compressor/reheat choices using Vertiv unit-family documentation. Exact availability can still depend on capacity, voltage, heat-rejection type and factory configuration.

Current iCOM Humidity Settings
Enter the humidity values currently programmed in iCOM.
Proportional RH control: iCOM divides both the humidity proportional band and humidity dead band evenly around the humidity set point.
Installed Reheat Configuration
Reheat is filtered by the selected unit. Factory configuration can vary, so verify installed hardware.
Refrigeration Measurements
Enable Refrigeration Analysis
Refrigerant is selected automatically from the identified unit. R-407C uses dew point for superheat and bubble point for subcooling.
PI / Integration Time — Optional
Enable PI / Integration Analysis
Used only for PI analysis. It does not alter the normal cooling/reheat staging calculations.

How the calculator treats the bands

Cooling base = TSP + 50% TDB
Cooling band width = 50% TPB
100% cooling = TSP + 50% TDB + 50% TPB
Reheat base = TSP - 50% TDB - 100% HDB
Reheat band width = 50% TPB
